This is not something that we say a lot here at Balloonista, but sometimes less is definitely more. Of course, there are times when showstopper garlands, fantastic installations and moongate archways are needed to take your breath away.
For Valentine’s, however, sometimes it’s the cute little surprises, added extras and thoughtful details that count. As they say, ‘love does not boast’, and so this Valentine’s we will be paying extra attention to the pared back elements to bring a smile to loved ones’ faces.
We love the simple gestures – a handwritten card, breakfast in bed or cooking a romantic meal for two. Their favourite box of chocolates, or surprising them with a beautiful, customised balloons with custom ribbons.
You could replace your traditional bunch of roses with a much longer lasting balloon bouquet, or if you would like something simple take a look at a single heart shaped balloon with a fabulous trailing tassel tail. Add a touch of glamour with metallics (rose gold is our favourite!) or add some glitter confetti or feathers inside a clear balloon for some gorgeous details.
Whilst we’ve already told you that engagements are most prevalent over Christmas, maybe you were waiting until Valentine’s to pop the question? If that’s the case, take a look at our Pinterest board for some décor inspiration and let’s make this February 14th one to remember!
