Our Favourite Balloon Trends of 2018

It’s our last blog post of the year! Can you believe it?! Wow what a year it is been, we’ve attended wedding fairs, styled birthdays and Halloween events, and have even had time to slot in a fabulous styled shoot – watch this space for the write up!

It really has been a fabulous 2018 for us, and so thank you to all our lovely friends, followers and clients that have supported us this year. You will have seen our new website launch thanks to Laura at Anchor & Dash, and our gorgeous photo shoot images from AKP Branding Stories have made an appearance on our instagram!

Whilst we are on the theme of reminiscing… what have we most loved in the balloon and styling world this year?

1. Alternative Christmas Trees
This has been a year when we have noticed a real up-trend in alternative, and especially, bespoke balloon Christmas trees! Pastels, metallics and of course classic colourways have been seen in shop windows, events and on DIY blogs!

2. Floral and Balloon Combinations.
From moon-gate archways, to garlands and installations, we have loved seeing the soft combo of floral and balloons.

3. Pastels and Metallic Pairings
Pastels have been popular for a long time now, but this year we have seen the addition of metallics to the mix becoming a way to bring a potentially sickly-sweet style up to date.

We held a Easter partner party in office last month and had the pleasure of Annalisa & team decorating our office with branded colourful pastel balloons and demi arch which our team and guests absolutely loved. I can't say enough good things about Balloonista. This company is top notch. I organized a balloon arch, light up numbers, and balloon orbs for a surprise birthday at the Arsenal stadium in London all while communicating from the United States. I couldn't believe we pulled it off with the different time zones. Not to mention, I was asking a HUGE favor by reaching out only a few days before hand, but they were still able to pull it off...beyond my expectations! If it wasn't for Annalisa, there's no way I could have got this done in such short notice with any other company. She correlated with the Stadium due to my time difference and really made it easy for me. She was able to send over everything we needed for approval in a timely matter! Five star communication, customer service, and amazing quality. Thank you again and highly recommend!!
