Can I amend my online order?
We start to pick and pack orders pretty soon after receiving payment but by all means give us a call and if we haven’t already sent your order out, we will allow amendments. Once your package has been sent, any additional items will have to be sent separately and any unwanted items will have to be returned at your own cost.
Can I change the delivery address?
We will need to know as soon as possible if you have input an incorrect delivery address. Once your package has been dispatched it is beyond our control so please check your order carefully before checking out!
I have placed an order but now the item is out of stock!
Please rest assured that we will contact you immediately in this scenario to arrange an alternative or a refund. If you can’t see what you are looking for on our website, please drop us a line or give us a call.
When will I receive my order?
We aim to dispatch orders placed before 2pm, on the same day when next day delivery is required. We use an overnight National courier service therefore in most cases you will receive your order within the next day. During the Coronavirus pandemic this could be slightly longer due to working and travel disruptions. Please note that courier deliveries can arrive any time between 7am and 7pm. If you require your delivery at a more specific time please contact us to discuss. We offer special Balloonista deliveries throughout London and the South East.
I need my balloons today or tomorrow!
If you are in need of an urgent next day delivery, please contact us before placing your order and we will put a bespoke order through, which will incur an increased delivery charge to cover the cost of the next day delivery. If you live locally to our base in Kent/South East London, we will even see if we can deliver to you ourselves for a small mileage fee.
Do you offer weekend deliveries?
Yes, we offer nationwide courier deliveries on Saturdays, just select Saturday Service when you place your order. Our nationwide courier service does not operate on Sundays but we do offer local Balloonista deliveries at weekends in London and the South East. Please enquire about mileage costs.
Do you ship internationally?
No, we only supply to the United Kingdom mainland currently.
My item is faulty!
In the event that you receive faulty goods, please contact us within 24 hours to discuss this. We may request that you return the entire order for us to check and we will either replace or refund if we find that the items were not in full working order. If only one or two balloons are faulty, we may ask you to send us a photo of these and then we will replace them free of charge. Please also see our terms and conditions.
Do I need to know anything about how to treat my balloons?
Yes! Firstly, when opening the box, please avoid using any sharp objects, ie. a knife, blade or scissors. Secondly, extreme heat can affect the life of your balloons, especially if they are helium filled. Cold air can shrink your balloons and hot conditions can expand them, potentially causing them to burst.
My weight has burst, what’s in it?
We sometimes use water weights on our balloons. These are more environmentally friendly than the cement versions you may have seen before as they are just biodegradable latex balloons filled with water. These don’t burst easily but if they do please rest assured that they do not contain any chemicals so won’t be dangerous to children or animals.
How safe is my data with you?
At Balloonista we take privacy seriously. If you’re representing a client or event that requires complete discretion, we are more than willing to sign a confidentiality agreement or NDA. We only post images that we have been given the rights to on our social media platforms and will not discuss any details of our arrangements or involvement with any third party.
